Should list agent take house off market if it is under contract and passed due diligent time?# Living

My agent said the house can still for show until close. Is this true? What
if any damages happened before close.
Also my agent told us seller has no obligation to do the final walk through
before close. Again, who can guarantee the condition at close time as loan
process can take over 30 days?

It's not a simple yes or no answer. bottom line is if you can't get answer
from your agent about your questions, find a new agent.

一般不take off,除非最后close几天,没有任何问题了
但也不会给人看房子了,会直接说有offer了

find a good attorney. They will help you to include contingency in your
contract to protect your interests before closing.

Well, usually if the offer is taken, it will show as Active contingency and
no show, Unless seller or listing agent has some other thoughts...
You can add some conditions in your contract such as if final walk through
conditions are different as property inspection, blah blah blah actions need
to be taken....

Thanks for all your responses!
List agent even told us seller has no obligation to do walk through before
close. My agent is not clear on this too. Does buyer has right to ask seller
for a final walk through to check the house condition and
ask how the stuff( like switches, hot tub etc) works.
