新手，切割板子的时候是circular saw比较好还是miter saw呢？似乎后者更安全点，
是么？如果是miter saw，那我还要准备个台子咯？另外如果木板太宽的话，能用
miter saw切窄一点么？
另外地板上的trim可能不会取下来，所以想用multi-tool锯掉一点，然后把新铺的地板
塞进去。预算有限，求推荐一款价格低廉点的multi-tool。

miter
it's far cheaper and easier to remove the trim and reinstall trim after the
floor is done. Nailing trim is easier than making clean cut with multi-tool
. Plus trying to slip the tile under the trim is going to be very tricky on
long edges.

尽量不要用circular saw。这个倒是便宜，但是我觉得能不用就不要用，因为这个锯安
全保护上是没那么好的。
如果要讲安全保障和干活效率，你需要四种锯：
1. miter saw。锯长短用。
2. table saw。锯边角窄条用。
3. jig saw。锯门，通风口等过度地带用，有时需要局部切割一定花样。
4. japanese saw。这个是手动锯，锯门下过长的那部分，以保证能把地板刚好塞进去
。当然，如果你有dremel rotation kit，那可以替代日本手锯。
从理论来讲，1，2两个锯都可以用circular saw替代。但是如果你要自己装楼梯，
table saw也是要一个的。我自己就是把房间，过道都装好之后，发现还是得要table
saw才能精确控制楼梯安装的宽窄。
如果要装楼梯，可能需要把原来建筑用的底板牙子给去掉，我是用jig saw和japanese
saw配合使用做的——力气活啊！不过，如果建筑商用的材料好，很多人就直接刷漆而
不再自己安装木地板了。我家的底板到处是疖子，太难看，不得不自己做。

我倒是想把trim撬下来，但是这是一个老房子，trim是实木的，有1.5cm厚，并且比现
在的这种trim高很多，不是用射钉，而是普通钉子敲进去的。我怕撬起来把墙给搞坏了
。另外一个是他们把插头座都安在了trim上，取下来要动电的东西，对我一个新手有点
难度。。。

铺地板工程浩大不要省工具钱-我的教训。装得辛苦不说，也会很大影响工程质量。
1. 锯子
理论上flooring saw是可以的，可以miter cut也可以rip cut
我买的那个skil牌子的，用的还是挺累。
我推荐买一个table saw,一个miter saw。
都不需要太好的。最便宜的ryobi就可以了。
如果有门下面要锯，multiple tool (oscillating tool)是可以的。
2.trim
我估计你说的是已有的base board吧？
拔了的话重新弄有点贵。
如果不拔的话，用quarter round盖住空隙。美观上不如塞在baseboard下。
如果你只是想锯掉一截baseboard，我敢肯定一定会搞砸。
不如花点时间把它小心撬下来。

Another option is to just install the floor right up to the trim, then
install quarter round pieces to cover the gap. It's easier.

看视频好像floor saw还挺简单的哈。

3. If you choose solid hardwood floor, this is what you need
If you need to take out the old flooring then
3.1. pry bar
3.2. hammer, screw driver
3.3. plywood and screws for plywood
3.4. Pre-finished planks
3.5. Miter Saw, Table Saw
3.6. Planer, Sander (special planks)
3.7. floor Nailer/mallet, nails
This one is expensive, about $500. You may rent it at home depot, however
you will have the time pressure to finish it. My experience is that it will
always take longer time to complete your work than you originally planned.
After two row of this length of nailing, my back will be really sore.
3.8. regular nailer, nails
3.9. compressor
3.10. pliers (take out the nail)
3.11. moisture barrier
4. Safety first
4.1. places in Multiple places
4.2. Not save money
Safety first. Place multiple goggles in convenient places, so that you don't
have excuses not to use them. It is not worth losing your sexy eyes to save
a few dollars.

正在自己装地板中。如果想省钱，就只买table saw。 table saw是必须的， miter s
aw可以用table saw 代替。
不想换trim就买quarter round，千万别想着锯了塞进去。

miter saw 是必须的 because you need it for every row.
table saw 可以用hand saw 代替, 切的不均可用TRIM 盖上。

上面说得都对哈。从安全性考虑，其实手锯是比较安全的一个，miter 其次，table
saw其实事故率很高尤其对新手。
