A, Bedding
1, crib ( we have one that our friend gave us... so no experience on
shopping it.. just pay attention to the safety, don't be fooled by the fancy
ones, there is some safety certificate you should look for... that i forgot
what the name is , but i am sure you will find it if you ask)
one choice that you can get the 3-in-1, which can be crib, toddler bed
and twin, price wise it is the same...
Normally, price range and use of time
mattress for crib/toddler ~$150-$200
crib ~ $200 0-12 months
toddler bed ~ $100 12-20 months
Twin/full bed & mattress ~$1000 20 months+
if you buy the convertable 3-in-1, it is about $300+, so , about the same
cost
2, mattress ( babiesrus, sealey brand , foam one, about $150, less than $200
, we bought it for Grace, it is light and comfortable)
3, Bedding,
Get something cotton, no need to get those theme ones, just get regular bed
sheet $10 each,
We bought one set , the sheet is not 100% cotton, quilt never used, bed
boarders, yes, use for 6 months... cost $150
4, Mobile,
we used tiny love farm... around $200 ( gift from friend)
we bought fisher price forest, around $50
i prefer tiny love one, but again, only use for <6 months..
5, changing table,
Never bought,
6, changing pad, from BRU, $30, we put it on a higher table, it works
7, Halo Swaddle me sleep sak $20 each
recommended , get the 100% cotton ones
8 sleeping bag,
I finally settled to merino sleeping bag, $100 each, but it worth the money
if you buy a toddler one, since they can use it for a while
for new born, i would go with receiving blanket or halo swaddle me sleep sak
9 receiving blanket
get dozens of them , they are used everywhere!!!
swaddle baby, wipe of milk, cover when you feed her, every where.....
B, Feeding
1, bottle
Dr brown is on the top of the list. Very good at reduce gas and not
expensive, someone say it is hard to clean, but we just get used to it
Born free, is good too, but expensive
Dont use other brands, we v tried all of them, none of them as good as the
above two
2, bottle cleaner/steamer
get any one is fine
ours is gift from friends....
3, spoons/bows
i get the Gerber one

DONT BUY NEW BORN SIZE! START FROM 3 MONTHS!
We start from 3 months, and she grew out of them after one week
then we go for 6 months, and she grew out of it in one month
then we go for 9 months, and she wear those until she is 3 months
then we go for 12 months, and she were them for a while, FINALLY!!
Get one piece , no fancy ones.
you dont have time to dress them up when you are waken up every 2 hours. and
they dont go out that much, and they are soft, and you will not see the
effect you expect on them....you know what i mean
so get something like this for summer, or wear them inside in winter
