娃reflux，吐得很厉害，今天见了专家，被安排下周去医院做这个Barium Swallow，说
是把钡喝下去，然后就像照X光那样可以看肠道有没有异常。我一听到钡啊放射啊这些
字眼，就浑身打颤。有哪个妈妈了解这个test，能说说吗？

My daughter have the same problem. She is 4 months and two weeks old. She
have reflux and we been sleep feeding her for a while. We were worry because
her reflux is so bad that she won't eat. Sometime she can go for 5 hours or
more without eating, and when we feed her as soon as she swallow she would
refuse and turn her head to get away from the bottle. She did the swallow
test too. The specialist said it won't have to much effect. It's very minor
so we go ahead for the test. And the result did show she have quite a bit of
reflux and the doctor prescribe prevacid. She been on Prevacid for about
two weeks now and seem to get better. Now we can feed her a 4.5oz bottle and
sometime she will eat while she is awake. I suggest you to fix this
problem as soon as possible because it can get worst. Baby can associate
eating with pain or discomfort and will develop eating problem. I know it's
difficult to see a young baby taking X-Ray. Just be prepare that during the
X-Ray everyone will ware a special kind of clothing to protect you from the
radiation but your baby will only have a small hospital gown on, you will
feel so bad like you putting your baby in harms way but remember this is for
his own good. Don't worry, it will pass. I am still in the middle of
fighting this. Just do what you can and hope for the best. :) good luck

One more thing, barium will not stay in his system. He will poop it out so
when you see white poop don't worry, it's normal.

那个就是硫酸钡，中学化学学过的。不溶于水，也不会和胃酸(盐酸)起反应。怎么进去
，怎么出来。
xray总有辐射的，除非你不做。

we have been told our 12 weeks old baby has had reflux.After he started to
have fluid medicine, it seems to get a little better, but can't stop having
this fluid.
