没想过会发生在自己身上,吃地健康,运动,没有任何疾病,第一胎一切顺利(没有任何状
况),从来没有流产,家里没有发现任何有基因问题,31岁...
第二胎的12周NT SCAN显示2.7MM...有HIGH RISK是DOWN SYNDROME或者HEART DEFECTS..
.血检结果要2周后才知道...我想这会是生命里最长的两周...
不知道有没有妈妈们当初有NT超过2.7最后宝宝出来是完全健康的? 有没有20周左右才
做人流的,是不是对妈妈伤害很大? 想想就害怕...希望不会是最差的结果...

不高啊？
An NT of less than 3.5mm is considered normal when your baby measures
between 45mm and 84mm. The NT normally grows in proportion with your baby.

2.7mm不高啊,单看NT值也不准啊，要结合血检结果看的。不要自己吓自己，实在担心去
做个Maternity21。

我的2个， 13周的时候，一个 2.7，一个2.6 结合验血报告出来是 1：100,000
2ND SCREEN 出来也是 1：100，000
所以不要担心。

Don't worry. Ours was 3.2mm, we did heart scan, amniocentesis, nothing found
. Baby is now 10 months old, very cute, active and healthy.

谢谢鼓励,你做了羊膜穿刺吗? 剧我理解,血检只排查基本的几个基因(像唐氏,18,13),
只有CVS和羊穿才查每个可能不好的基因对...

谢谢鼓励...回首那段时间,每次做B超,是不是都会紧张, 不知道会有什么新发现?就算
不是基因问题,也可能是心脏, 肺积水,肾积水?脑积水? 鼻子或者嘴巴或者手指的形状?

2.7不算高的
不过mm担心我还是可以理解的。
我怀老二NT检查是2.4，虽然也不算太高，但也是很担心。
两周的等待血检结果真的是度日如年，天天打电话去OB那里！
后来血检结果1：5000呢！
所以MM不要太担心！

yes we did. actually amniocentesis covers more genetic checks than CVS.
However, if something really went wrong seriously, it will be relatively
easy to find out in other checks such as heart scan, or ultra sound. If all
test results are negative, the chance of the baby having a problem will be
very very very small.
so really, don't worry. To tell you more, our baby also had a dilated kidney
at late stage, but it all resolved on its on when the baby was born. The
absolutely majority of the positive results turn out to be just false alarm.

i know someone who has no physical issue, but was found to be a light autism
around year 2.
now i wonder, if the NT scan indicates that, there must be something (even
tiny, or can be resolved when it's born, not necessarily chromosom), or
mental or nerve imperfection...
does anyone have the case that the baby (with bad NT result) has absolutely
no issue at all after being observed 2 years or more?

The answer to your questions is NO. A perfectly healthy baby can have thick
NT measurement.
You need to understand why NT thickness is being looked at. It's *
statistically* shown that there is a correlation between thicker NT and
chromosome disorder. However, there is NO causality that says thicker NT
must indicate chromosome disorder. In fact, 95% of fetus with thicker NT are
completely healthy. Even for the other 5%, most of them only have small
problems.
A lot of people panic when they saw a thick measurement of NT, without
trying to understand what that really means. My son was measured at 3.3mm (
hell yeah that's a large number), and I read around 40 research papers on
this topic (I'm a physics PhD) and tried to understand what it all means. I
realized it was just simple probabilistic model, and even the probability is
quite arguable according to different researchers. I finally determined the
probability of my son having Down Syndrome is less than 1%, and was more
than relaxed. Turned out I was right.

2.7mm根本不算什么，不是正常值吗？告诉你我的例子吧，我的双胞胎一个4.4mm，一个
4.8mm，一点问题都没有，连心脏也没有问题，我做了羊水的。NT的positive rate有5%
，意思是所有正常的孕妇中有5%会被检查出异常，但实际上只有其中不到5%的有问题，
你的只有2.7mm，都不算positive。不知道你的医生那么紧张干什么。
