本来申请到了今年的H1B,
10.1号开始，
结果公司一直裁人，
所以一直在家里没开始上班，
现在倒好，公司通知要撤回H1B了，
看来只能转回H4接着找工作了。
请问：
我应该什么时候申请H4才不会OUT OF STATUS?
公司可能在11月底撤回H1B,
请问我可以等到那时候转H4吗？
我一直没开始工作，不知道什么时候会OUT OF STATUS.

I try to schedule an infopass to confirm my address change, but do not know
which reason to choose. I have no notice and just did a SR this morning, but
do not want to wait for 45 days...Which of the following should I choose?
1, Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your
local office for further case processing.
2, Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since
you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You
must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the
appointment.

刷了CM7 gingerbread 的captivate ROM，上网一切正常，但是在market里面，想注册
google account的时候说没有internet连接。无法注册。但是开browser上网却没有问
题，请问大家如何解决。谢过。

captivate很容易root和unlock，刷ROM的主要好处是啥？wifi tether？
其他没发现2.3比2.2好。貌似不如2.2稳定。

啊噢，
请问为什么呢？
不能等到公司revoke 之前我在file change of status？
还想和公司商量一下晚点收回h1b呢，
不可以了？？

Don't wait. Technically you're already out of status. You might run into
some trouble changing back to H4 since you'd need paystubs to prove you're
in status from Oct 1st to the date you file I-539 to go back to H4 status.

Technically, your employer can hold your H-1B legally for thirty days
without pay you. After that, if they still don't pay you, you will be out of
status, which is not due to your fault.
Try to transfer to another status ASAP.
If USCIS ask for RFE such as paystub, talk to a lawyer.

我的情况和LZ相似，不同的是我要申请的是H1B转F2,公司还没有报告移民局，请问我申
请F2的时候要向移民局告知我已经被LAYOFF了吗，还是什么都不说直接填表申请STATUS
CHANGE,这样做有什么风险吗？谢谢
