单独开一个贴，想问问大家，如果evaluate完了，觉得孩子确实speech delay，speech
therapist都给孩子提供什么帮助呢？陪着朗读？纠正孩子发音？心里辅导？还有什么
。。。

It depends on the need of the child, if your child needs more work in 发音,
then they will focus more on it.
My kids are not good at expressing themselves, they do talk, but they need
help putting sentenses together. so based on what I see from my kids therapy
sessions, the main purpose is to find different ways (fun ways) to teach
them to talk the right way, answer questions and make requests. It's a lot
of repetition. Don't expect the therapists to do miracle work, they are
only here 1 to 2 hours a week. The real work is done by the parents/
caregiver. Parents need to learn from the therapist and apply all the
techniques at home everyday.
