俺经常有这种困扰，如果有问题请教旁边坐的大叔，他经常会连绵不觉的说上一大堆废
话，俺一般就是假装认真的听着，其
实早就在想别的事了。。。。后来发现其实他自己说完也觉得好像不该说那么多。。还
挺伤他自尊的。。。
象俺这样平常一般很难跟别人说不的人，别人在说一堆废话的时候，在什么时机，怎么
才能礼貌的转移话题？
大伙赐教几招～～

去startup 就是赌一把，要想保险，就在大公司呆。风险越大，潜力越大。

靠谱。要赚大的，就做founder，或者前十的员工，风险也大，否则去大公司，pay
benefit都有保障，还能worklife balance. hourly rate 高

What "inconvenience"? Why spend longer time at NFLX to work for that
money if you can just easily go to an IPO firm instantly collecting a
million? I mean after all according to you even if the firm fails they
give out "great layoff package" so there's nothing to lose. LOL.

I joined Netflix when it was $60 and at $50 briefly, just saying.
And I don't mind it going down a bit since option is granted monthly.
Enjoyed a bit of selling at $410 too.
But I can imagine someone's sour grape coming from M$ which couldn't even
beat Nasdaq for god's
sake.
You can collect a million from TWTR over 4 years, that's how startups works,
quick or not depending on your patience. Certainly quicker than M$FT though

When was the last time you heard an TWTR employee jumped to M$FT? And how
many examples you've heard on the opposite? Sour grape can only take you so

就算是Netflix也给的比微软多很多，这没啥好争的了。其实你也没必要就为了张绿卡
在我软浪费时间啊。在哪个公司干真的无所谓，关键是趁着年轻干得动多挣点钱。微软
每年挣几百个亿，分我们的钱比其他公司少，真是，哎。。。

Yeah? Since MSFT is able to collect 20B net profit every year w/ that
"stale tech", I suppose those silicon valley MOMO companies you've
been BSing about can make more money using "better techs". So how come

You need to take the high living expense in CA into the equation. They
have to pay probably 20% more than WA companies to make it equal. If
you can collect CA salary but work remotely from a cheaper state then
you get a deal.

我软很多senior拿16、17万一年，跳去西雅图一些其他公司立刻拿30多万一年。还有去
个小startup待两年，混个Director,回国立刻vp，过两年回flg做director，直接一两
百万一年。这就算干一年公司就垮了，你已经一百万到手，又攒了管理经验，管他呢。
程序员的青春就那么几年，又何必去管公司赚不赚钱。咱都是小不点，离了我地球照样
转的。

looking for their first job to work on GCs not to get sucked in by
