一个最近发现挺严重的问题，就是我说 In this way, I can get the data...的时候
，老美经常听成can't的意思，我也知道他们说can't的时候最后那个t不发音，我自己
则是说can的时候短促，说can't的时候拖长一些，但老美还是听不清，都以为是can't。
有时候也在纳闷，似乎确实没有听过老美自己说 I can 之类的，难道都用 I could ..
.来说吗？但是想强调一下这个capability的话，could似乎有弱，该怎么办呀？

我tmd真服了，在goog中国做到最高，每天掌握那么多信息，这点判断要是都做不出来
，他就更shi
了，比搞不定中国政府和东家两头这种他应该做好的事情shi很多

hehe, 前两天和儿子说话也是纠缠不清到底是CAN 还是CAN＇T.
first, relax. even for Americans, it is hard to tell can't from can if they
say the single word.
2nd, it is not pronunciation, nor long/short. It is intonation. The way to
say can/can't is, for example I can/can't do it, should sound like:
. . do .
. can't do .
Imaging you are in a very noisy place, the first sentence you can only hear
'do', while the second sentence you can hear 'can't do'. It does not matter
much whether you say can or can't in the second case, when you say it this
way, it always sounds like can't.
a lot time when we talk, we tend to pronounce each word clearly, thinking it
is easier for other people to understand. But the wrong intonation actually
makes it more difficult. Wrong intonation conveys wrong information.
You can try this, next time when you say 'I can do it', fly through 'I', and
'can', and go to 'do' directly. To your ear, the sentence almost sounds
like it starts with 'do'. And when you say 'I can't do it', to your ear, the
sentence starts with 'can't'.
Just my 2c, hope this can help, or can't?...

用的时候，可以在前面加上yes/no。
比如

卷积，参数共享，池化更重要啊
图里的全连接层属于瞎子摸象小快糙做不了大事的

Thanks. You got the point. I m goint to try flip 'i can' almost muted and
stress 'do' when expressing 'i can do'. Just as u said.

音调上有区别，can相当于中国语调的一声，cant相当于二声。

can't可以把 t 发出来吧，就像 don't won't 一样可发可不发，说得快了就不发，但
是一定要留出一个空档。

Exactly.
The reason I think it is a bad idea to follow some of the suggestions here,
such as to use "able to" or "cannot", is that by avoiding saying "cann't",
you are wasting a great opportunity to improve your English that the
challenge brings.
Once you learn it, you can speak English more confidently. No improvement is
too small to pass.
Every challenge opens doors to opportunities to improve ourselves in some
way. It's a pity that you would want to waste any of them.

你这是讲英国英语哪？
i can do it. 轻声带过
i can't do it. 重音降调，t不发，但留音位
如果需要强调的话，照音标发，慢读重音每个词
i CAN do it
i CAN NOT do it
必要时加yes, no
书面语美语can't是不规范的，一律要用cannot

这一段说得很清楚了。 'I can do it'重音在do。 'I can't do it'重音在can't.
You can try this, next time when you say 'I can do it', fly through 'I', and
'can', and go to 'do' directly. To your ear, the sentence almost sounds

虽然说cannot不是口语用法但我工作中都这么用的也没有问题实用最重要 can't在实
际中若没有context可能有30%会有人追问can or cannot

lz举得例子是非常中文式的句子，翻过来就是“这样我就能获取数据”
但是这句话用英文说不一定非要用can，我觉得 I get data in this way 或者
In this way I get data 一样表达清楚了吧？
我想是不是可以注意一下，在不必用can的时候，就不说这个词。在否定的时候用
cannot， can't 为主。
具体情况具体分析，我就是提个思路哈。
