Wrong, Java is a language, including the compiler, the runtime,
and the supporting api and framework, probably having the richest
standard api among all languages.
The API and framework mostly consist of 3 domains.
JSE (standard edition), JEE (Enterprise edition) JME(Micro Edition)
These were used to call J2xx because Sun called them Java 2 for version
1.1-1.4, now it's 1.5 and they decides to use 5.x as official version
number and call it java 5.
JEE mostly consists of, but is not limited to JS
