Have you been to San Jose or San Francisco lately?
Americans (read: white Americans) who work in engineering in Silicon Valley
are a small minority. Walk on the grounds of any business park there and you
'll see Asians, overwhelmingly. Men and women.
Not only that, Chinese and Indian engineers work the 9-9-6 schedule and
generate the overwhelming innovative value of the technology companies in
Silicon Valley, compared with native entitled slackers.
American (read again: white American) executives may own rights to this
valuable work, but they neither do nor can generate it. That is because they
refuse to pay to educate their workforce.
China drives the innovation in Silicon Valley. China drives the research in
American universities. The American economy with its hordes of lazy,
incompetent, entitled, and recently xenophobic "consumers" is dead in the
water without the Chinese, which has 10 times more engineers, who work twice
as hard as American ones.
Decline is tough but it's a fact of every power, especially a blundering one
with serial failed wars and a bloated, technologically illiterate ruling
class. Get over it, and your silly pride.
