这种选手要看现场，实在看不到，录像也可以。
技术太NB了。
光听的话有点不给劲，况且很多不是那么NB的人
也可以通过录音技术搞得差不多。

I personally think he is good. But he is regarded as an overestimated
guitarist by some persons, for instance, my guitar teacher.

这个也不奇怪，他好象总是让人觉得是靠他徒弟（们）出
的名。呵呵。

hehe, very true
but how do you think of anyone is "better" is totally subjective
he is regarded as the first dedicated modern guitar instrumentalist
i think that gives him a lot of credit. i've seen him live, man
i don't care if he is best or not but along w/ Vai and Petrucci
i was so intimidated to touch my guitar for a month :P

现场最有挑战性，没错，所以一定要有玩现场的能力。这是我对吉他玩家的看法也是我的
一个目标。
Joe很有名，不过似乎有他是著名教师的原因。我觉得他的技术当然好的不得了。
但是仍然有很多其他的吉他手值得学习。尤其是有开创性的吉他手。

I kind of like G3's with Eric Johnson. He use some nice novelty chords. Not
only single note chains. It's a little bit strange that he called bending
as"streching string" in his teaching video "Fine art of guitar".

yeah, i lost my mind that night, they can do anything they want w/ a
guitar. 4 hrs long. at the end, 3 drummers, 3 bassists and 3 guitars
it just blew everyone away
and it only cost 27 bucks

only $27? that's cheap! 4 hrs long. that's the best I can imagine.
I can't believe this. People in your area don't love them? then how come it
is only $27?
I love the jam part best. at that time you can see what a guitarist's
favorite tricks and techniques. you can also get some ideas from their
jamming.
