我是学生物的，现在美国做post-doc，老公还在国内，老公是学土木工程里的结构

diff是怎么比较两个文本文件的异同的呢？是通过hash table来实现的么？
如果不是hash table, 存不存在这种可能，通过shuffle一个文件的lines，使得前后两
次diff的结果不同？

最近比较衰。
旧硬盘坏了，但是上面重要的东西我都有备份，在一个wd passport外置硬盘上，
周末用一个新的硬盘重新装机，刚才打算把备份的的数据考回新硬盘。由于备份的数据
不是直接存在外置硬盘上，要先运行wdSync才能看到备份的数据,结果因为新硬盘上没
有相应的目录，在sync结束后，外置硬盘上所有该目录下的内容都被删乐（或者说是与
新硬盘的内容sync）。这种情况能不能用easyrecovery恢复？
我还没有进行任何操作。

can't in the office :) but will give it a try after I get home.
it's actually kinda refreshing to do this sort of exercise now and then, as
most of the time I'm forced to write concisely and not given as much poetic
