有一次，重装系统之后，在用Outlook express发信的时候，发现不能用拼写检
（SH你别笑），一检查才发现Outlook express用的是Office的拼写检查，没装
Office, 就没有。现在想想M$挺牛的，自己的各个软件之间的这种功能的互用性
IE， Office, Win, 现在给M$搞的是一个和一个都有紧密联系，怪不得现在大家的
机器上，如果有其中某项，想发挥最优越性能，必有其它两项。每次重装机器，
三样必
Netscape是不成了，自从我发现它的128位加密软件需要重新下载整个10几兆的
程序，我就不用他了， IE只需下载几百K的一个小文件。 M$ means $。

Actually if you install Cetus WordPad (an enhanced free version of WordPad),
it comes with its own spell checker, which I believe could be registered and
used in other applications.

SO you mean the it's like this.
The spell checker register itself as spellcheck. So the other program,
when they want to perform spell check, they just call it.
UltraEdit also has a Dict wich performs the spell check, but seems can not
be used in the other software(I guess).

Right, the spellcheck module can be called by other programs only when it's
an ocx file, which can then register itself for spell-checking function. If
you try to install Visio, it will ask you whether or not to install its own
spell-check module, which supplements the Microsoft Office spellcheck
module... in any case, UltraEdit's spell-check is probably done internally.
