Can somebody recommend some useful package about table?
LaTEX is fun, handy. But making tables is such a pain.
How to show or not show cell boundaries?
How to merge several cells vertically / horizontally?
How to control the height of each row?

Use open office to write tables, export to PDF and embed as a figure.

that's what I do
but it's so many trouble if you have to modify the table frequently
