从开始找postdoc到上个礼拜定了大概花了四个月的时间
我自己本人烂校生化专业, fresh Ph.D, 一片第一作者的JBC，一片第二作者的PLoS
ONE
老板的推荐信应该很好（这是我从我后来面试的postdoc老板那里听来的）
从六月份开始找，到不同的大学的主页上找自己喜欢的方向的老板的主页，一个一个
发信去问，其间受到很多据信，都说自己没钱招更多的薄厚。到了十月份的时候，短
短两个礼拜的时间，我收到三个on-site interview邀请。很幸运的是我面试了三个，
三个都给了我offer。两个在西雅图的华盛顿大学，一个在密歇根大学。虽然西雅图
的两个地理位置很好，但是密歇根的老板人很好，而且对待学生和薄厚十分认真，我
很喜欢他的风格。尽管西雅图对我老婆找工作相对容易（她学会计的），但是很感谢
老婆支持我的前途，十分坚定地和我一起去密歇根安娜堡。
现在的薄厚不是太容易找，两个华盛顿大学都开始打算给我J1，但是我说我还有另外
的offer的时候，都改了主意给我办H1。一个华盛顿大学的教授开始和我说现在华盛顿
大学只办J1，非常坚决，我想他们都不愿

假如我有如下transactions.
1. Buy 200 shares of stock A at 10.00
2. Buy 200 shares of stock A at 5.00
3. Sale 200 shares of stock A at 2.50
(I am still holding 200 shares of stock A).
How much I can claim capital loss:
A. 200 * (10 - 2.5)
B. 200 * (5 - 2.5)
C. Either A or B at your own choice
Which one is the right answer?

我记得按first in first out算。

If you sold stock at 2.5 within 30 days of your purchase stock at 10 or 5,
you cannot deduct the loss. It is a wash sale and the loss will reduce the
basis of your current holding.

A wash sale occurs when you sell or otherwise dispose of stock or securities
(including a contract or option to acquire or sell stock or securities) at
a loss and, within 30 days before or after the sale or disposition
