You'd better back them up on CD-Rs. Last time my hard-drive broke
and I lost 20g music.

You can get a USB hard drive enclosure that will take
regular hard drives like this one, it's very easy to
set up.

But you might as well burn them on CDs, they're convinient
if you plan to get a in car MP3 CDR player.
