Hi All.
Here is a squirrelly one that took me by surprise. Apparently, there is a
subtle difference between pwd and $cwd in the csh.
Most of the time, typing in pwd and echo $cwd results in identical responses.
However, on certain mounted directories, $cwd seems to give the full pathname
and echo pwd only gives a part of pathname.
Example:
# df -k
Filesystem Type kbytes use avail %use Mounted on
/dev/root xfs 4253464 4191256 62208 99 /
dog3:/dog3

Normally it's automount or amd.
