真来气。今天公司在北京第一次出差的美国同事给我们组群发的邮件，真让我们公司的

I should have had the Beijing representative go touristing with me, I'm sure
it would have saved me a fair bit of hassle and possibly prevented the one
pick-up attempt I've experienced here in China. (Although after Thailand, a
nice lady chatting me up and asking me if I wanted to take her to coffee
was amazingly subtle.) I eventually got this Chinese girl's hint and said
goodbye. Quite interesting to find out that Chinese young girls are so
enthusiastic on dating foreigners.

昨天上班的时候看了录像，一个没忍住，哭了好一阵。被俩老美同事看到。问咋回
事，俺生生地把眼泪缩回去，楞是没敢说为啥。这种事他妈的丢人丢到家了，家丑还
是莫要外扬。
俺宝贝闺女1岁半，长的和小悦悦有几分相似。当妈妈的真不能看这种录像，到现在还
是很难受。

要么这个老板是个烂人

你怎么知道你看的是客观真实的？那个案件本身就是悬案，大家愤怒的是法院的推理过
程。你不是凶手，你为什么去扶老太，你为什么赔她去医院。这样的逻辑很可能你做好
事的时候就会碰到，不可怕么？

我看过的是过程的描述，彭宇本人并不否认老太和他的车有接触，争论的焦点在于是车

I read from a famous American psychology book: influence
True story in NY; a woman got stabbed > a dozen times, screamed for help for
more than 20 minutes in a community. No one even cared to call 911.
Why? because everyone thinks someone else will do it.
There is somethign similar in this case. I can't deny that it's still very s
hocking and cold. China's got problems. Places like NY, will be more like Ch
ina, than rural places in USA. It's the pressure in life, realationship amon
g people.
Ask ourselves, if I was there, what would I do? I mean, if you have been liv
ing in China for the last 10 years, what would you be like and what would yo
u do ?

I don't get it. Why did the boss ask you whether it's true that the
bystanders all ignored the injured girl? You have as much access to the
news as he has.
Neither you nor your boss was witness to the accident. It's hard to judge
whether all 18 of them actually knew the girl was hit by the two vans.
My co-workers never asked me those questions, Liu Xiaobo or whatever. You
guys are weaaaaaak. I spent most of time educating themselves with my own
personal life stories, instead of those heresays from news channels.
Personal stories are more trustworthy and acceptable.

Exactly. I would reply that I am not witness to the accident, so I am not
sure whether it's true or not, but this is definitely a sensational news, a
tiny injured baby and passerbys.
BTW, those 18 people were not bystanders, big difference.
