Cheer up! I'm a woman engineer and need to lead a group of technicians (all
male) at work. Above 80% of them are at least 15-20 years older than me. I'm
the only woman engineer in the whole building. I completely understand how
difficult the enviroment you are in.
Please work harder than these men. And at work, only remember you are a person
the same as the other coworkers, not "you are a lady and they should treat you
right". Learn to use appropriate English, too!

An Arkansas 911 operator did not enter a call into a computer system that
would have notified police and fire dispatchers of a mother and son trapped
inside a vehicle in a pond, authorities said Wednesday. The woman died hours
later, and her 5-year-old son was in critical condition Wednesday, police
said.
太不可思议了。
更不可思议的是，operator竟然给了paid leave。。

美国的政府机构的好多内部处罚就是paid leave. 带工资休假。
