PostDoc and contractor openings for Medical Image Processing
The Center for Interventional Oncology (CC & NCI) & the Interventional
Radiology Research Laboratory in the Radiology & Imaging Sciences department
has a full-time postdoc and contractor openings for qualified candidates
interested in multidisciplinary translational research as , part of a team
of MD’s, PhD’s, and MD/PhD’s in interventional oncology.
Key areas of research will include the following:
1) Medical image processing, including real-time and offline segmentation
, tracking and registration of organs/vessels in multi-modality images such
as CT/Ultrasound/MRI
2) Investigation of novel image guidance solutions in clinical trials
Requirements:
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. of engineering. Preferred candidates are
those with strong programming skills in Java/C/C++, backgrounds in computer
science, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering and an interest
in interventional radiology or interventional oncology from a translational
science perspective. Experience in image processing is highly desirable.
