The American Consulting & Translation Service is looking for qualified
interpreters.
Duties: interpret between Chinese and English for a group of visiting
scholars from China, conduct public interpretation, talks, tours, and
educational programs on a pre-determined schedule.
Work time: 6-8 hours/day
Work date: 8/28/2011-12/3/2011
Work places: Towson University and nearby areas
Salary Range: $12 to $15 per hour or $80-$120/day
Other advantages: the groups of scholar are heads of schools in China.
Good chances to build networks.
Requirements: Fluency in Chinese and English, having knowledge about
educational systems of China and the United States, work experience as
an interpreter preferred; good social and interpersonal skills;
excellent listeners; patient.
Licensure/Certification: Accreditation as an Interpreter is suggested,
but not required
