Seems some ppl misunderstood my opinion.
Mine is:
If you have only some interest in art, you'd better choose another major, if
you can. Keep this interest only as a interest, not your major.
If you are really enjoy it, just go ahead!
To be an artist, you must face many obstacles! If the interest is not strong
enough to support you, you will give up later or feel regret!
Usually one obstacle is no much money!
And many times some ppl that you think are stupid have the power to evaluate
your works
