父母前年来美，延期半年，呆了将近一年后回国。现在签证过期不到一年，无据签史
，请问这种情况可找中信代签么? 查了北京和上海大使馆的网站，上海的说如果上次在
美逗留超过90天，就不符合代签要求；北京的没有提。
还有已经给他们预约了签证，如果代签需要把原来的预约取消吗? 中信代签是否基本
可过，请有经验的给说说.

I am a very introvert/sensitive person. My previous company, the department
head don't like me and keep implying that I have personality issue (he did
not directly point it out it was me, but everybody knows that when he said
that, he meant me). I had been there about over four years, and It was my
nightmare. Now whenever I heard anything about personality(even it is not about me), I could feel upset, nervous.. heart bit increase.. etc
My new company, the new boss begin mention about personality again, she
pushed me very hard to let me speak in public. I actually be very interested
in it, the problem is, when I speak in public, sometimes she was not
supportive, and make that public speaking a mess.
I am tired about personality things, I work just for a normal company, not a
consulting firm. I think people have different personality, it dosen't mean
an outgoing/talkative person is superior than a reserved person....
any advice? Thanks.

Honestly, I think you should go see a therapist. In any given company there
are bound to be extroverts and introverts. It's not like they expect
everyone to be outgoing and talkative. For both companies to make a big deal
out of your personality, that means they believe it has impacted your work
performance.
There are public speaking classes you can take, but you need to examine
yourself more closely to see how you can improve your interpersonal skills.

None of the company concern my work performance. I received high opinion
regard my work,. For personality, you are right, there are some concern
about how I work with people. I am a very sensitive person, people are not
that all friendly in the work place. Sometimes we have to deal with tough
people. I usually try not to confront them. I am more like a quiet person.
my current supervisor want me to be more talkative, so get more attention.
It is more related to my profession. Once you are at that level, they want
you to manage people and interpersonal skill become more and mre important.
She pushed too hard and it becomes very unpleasant. She actually wants some
positive outcome for my career.
what happened to the previous company is more complicated, it will take a
lot of time to describe it here.

平时多和同事交谈,不管有关无关工作,confront不是你的问题,他们对你不好不是你的
错误啊,个人当然要保
护自己的利益,不能总是吃亏谦让啊,从小的topic开始例如讲讲周末干嘛了,节日打算安
排,在茶水间里也可
以,cubic里也可以,大家虽然是上班来了,可是没人会100%认真工作,你太认真会让人觉
得你太突出,容易孤
立你,你的superviosr只是对你期望太深,你有不敢迈出这一小步,最后她也会失望过甚
一点点慢慢练习吧,这事情着急没有用啊

It really depends on your industry.
If you're an engineer then it's ok, since majority of them (especially
software engineers), are extremely introverted. But if you're in business
or marketing industry...then maybe you should consider a change in career
path if you really can't overcome your personality issue.
I, on the other hand, is the opppsite...I'm the only extroverted engineer in
my dept...kinda awkward =P

sounds like what you expect from your boss is to baby sit you rather than
support. 鼓励你，给你机会，让你讲话就已经做得很到位了。你不想说的话，就回绝
她，既然你决定说了，那你就自己把事情做好，而不是指望别人，说到底，人家是鼓励
你，不是求着你。

at the beginning it ok. Then, one day during a group lunch, she asked us to
check some kind of a list of woman leader characteristic. I forgot to check,
and she kept pushing me to say how people think about me. pushing and
pushing during the lunch, in front of other people. I said I will think
about it, but she did not let me go. Then evently, I read the list during
the lunch, and come up two thing. Then she directly went to other peole who
were at lunch, ask them to express how they think about me. I feel it is
kind of not nice. She is an India.
I actually felt sick about it and I think it won't work out between me and
her.
about public speaking, I did some presentation during a group meeting, she
criticize me very strangely. The issue she pointed out were not a issue at
all.
I just started about 3 months with this company, already so much issues. She
also said if you had question, feel free to ask her. But every time when I
ask her question, her attitude is very bad. It is just she said something
nice and good, and when she do it, it is ugly and weired. Before I came, one
of her employee left her group within 9 month. Another winin one year. I think she has a keen eye on people's problem. When I just started, she kept complaining to me one staff in her group. She looked down him very much because the work that person did have big problem. At that time, I already form an opinion about her: one day, she will complain to other people about me too. It is not how bad her staff is, it is her management style.
I know if I improve interpersonal skill, I will much better off. But with all these, I just feel bad about myself and even loss more confidence when I talk with people...
every morning, when I think I will go to work, I am in such a bad mood I
want to take a sick off....

if you have green card AND no family to support.,
you can take a career break and take a long
vacation to think through what is the best thing
to do for yourself. look hard at yourself and forget
about ANYONE's expectations.

i have seen colleagues (not chinese) do that. i always wish i
could do the same, but never been free of personal responsibilities.
