是不是只有通过打tail vein,才能看到metastasis? 俺打了两次subcutaneous,primary
tumor两周内长得硕大，可是没有mets. 郁闷。：（

There are also metastasis from subcutanerous injection but the mouse likely
dies from the tumor growth before you can observe the metastasis

不怪我boss,是我自己瞎试. tail vein injection实在太麻烦，抱着侥幸的心理作了
subcu。（以前试过另一个cell line,皮下注射也能有mets).
谁对tail vein injection有经验么？似乎这个技术很难阿，尤其是打黑老鼠。有没有
什么trick可以分享一下？谢。

我也是在网上查的。
With brown or black mice and rats, an additional light source may be
necessary to aid in visualizing the tail veins.
It is more difficult to visualize the tail vein in black mice. In these
cases, we have found that spraying 70% isopropanol on the tail increases the
contrast.
