谢谢回复，为什么大家都选一，有对AssistantResearcher了解的吗？个人有点对2 的
倾向，一是离家近，方便照顾家庭，二是将来再找Industry就容易了，当然有些冒着枪
林弹雨的担忧。自已一直也是想进Industry，但对Industry也是没什么切身感受，不太
了解其中甘苦，可能经历两轮重入Jobmarket的经历就又会怀恋Academia了。大家继续
给点建议吧。

To be honest，两者都不是很理想。但如果没有其它的options而必须从中选一，1相对
更好些。2有几个比较致命的硬伤。
1、直接上司不好，这一点就基本上可以枪毙掉了,否则以后有你受的。
2、Startup：好处是可能会有IPO的机会。但现在的光景，生物方面的IPO不会好到哪去
。但不好的方面一是startup是do-or-die，如果产品还没上市的话，压力会非常大。二
是没有机会象大公司一样给你时间去学习和适应，今后往大公司跳的可能性相对较小。
前者虽然离家远点，但做为faculty，不象在公司，你更独立和自由，时间会更
flexible。

我一个师兄就是在公司间转来转去最后终于到了大公司,就是因为他觉得小公司太弱了

assitant research scientist 是research faculty, 但是不是tenure track的。所以
升不到assistant professor.
