看来楼上的case，也读了有关建议，知道never sign a PIP
但如果老板和HR坐一起，让你签PIP，你能怎么办？就硬是不签？那会不会被立刻fire
掉？说不合作？

Hi, My netbook just get virus and the windows system is complete down. Now I
'm using the flash drive Ubuntu, the question is how to set up for wireless/
wifi ? I surf the internet using my old computer but all the information
seems kinda useless to me. Can anyone help me or give a direct way.

pip is like any other documents with ur company.
u have to follow ur company regulation , right?
Then u have to sign pip. no choice.
the option u have is either to tolerate the torture from ur boss for layoff
package or to piss them off right away!

forgot to say:
NEVER expect the boss is doing PIP for your good. the only purpose of PIP is
to fire/lay off an employee safely within very short timeframe (30days-
90days) from the company perspective.

thanks, i will try, but to me, the ubuntu netbook remix version seems dont
have the choice to detect the existing wireless. am i losing track of the
menu?

pip usually said: your signature indicate that you have read, doesn't have
to agree with it. So I think you have to sign as it is company regulation.
I asked to sign it tomorrow, but boss said no, she just marked on pip as
employee refuse to sign. later, i just sign and mark as I have read, but
disagree with it.

PIP本质是公司收集证据避免官司的一个手段。

lspci或者lsusb能看到wifi设备的么？没看到的话大概需要装Driver了吧.....

也就是说，如果要你签PIP，你明知道不好，也没有任何其他选择，只有签，然后任人
宰割？

我的T400，装上ubuntu10.0.4，立即就啥都可以用了，无需驱动
不过就是发热很高，古狗了一下说是需要装个电源管理，但细节没说，谁能告诉我具体

老板有些冲突，小老板处处咄咄逼人，这阿姨不像她们组其它小朋友那么唯命是从（平

可以。你google就知道的了。我记得是可以签个字，说看到这个pip，但是不签pip。

这个具体要看PIP是怎么写的，不能一概而论。有些PIP是"知道"签字，有些是"同意"签
字。
