Anyone in the field of genome structural variation?
Do people mainly use NGS than microarray for such study nowadays? (But I see
still someone uses microarray...Can sb. give a comparison?)
Btw, I'm a beginner in genomics, do we have some bioinformatics tutorial
DIRECTLY for NGS study?
Just confused at beginner!

现在的NGS对copy number variation的处理还有一些问题，整个方法还没有成型。传统
上array CGH还是可以的，但你一定要看NGS的东西的话自己找paper看吧，或者找做这
个的人直接问。

till now, arrayCGH (high density multiplex chip) is still cheaper than NGS
(hiseq2000 + bar coding) for large genome(>Gb). but NGS will win in the
future for sure

谢谢几位前辈的回复
我现在其实是在为rotation做准备。
我很想找到相关的tutorial，给一些实例来看看到底是如何一步步从拿到的data
format开始分析，需要哪些软件，要写什么样的code等等。。。就是现在就是个blind
的状态，只知道这个NGS这个东西，知道一些general的concept，但就好像只闻其声未
见其人，需要visualize到底是如何一步步分析这东西的。
