In another word, changes are subtle. So I don't see why it would violate the commonly observed evolutionary rate.
In worms, there is an example. When you express GFP in a worm and RNAi GFP in the P0 generation, you can observe the silencing of GFP in the next 10-50 generations after the worms are removed from RNAi.
Are u refering to RNAi can spread across generations? A similar example in mice is the CDK9/kit RNA inheretance, which can last for 5-9 generations
