想做一点小东西，1 inch的木板，可能要锯1/2 inch的小方口。想买一个手锯，最好是
电动的，不要太占地方也别太重（女生用）。请指教，谢谢～

杂志社要求
We need to have full control over the figures, that is, to be able to click
inside the figure to edit the lines, the arrow heads, and the font of the
words written inside the figure to match the journal style.
Please access the MTS and upload each figure in a separate (ps, eps, fig, ai
, Visio, wmf, emf, jnb, pzf, Excel, PowerPoint, opj, or cdr) files to
proceed with the publication process of the manuscript but please make sure
that it is editable, taking into consideration that any figures saved as jpg
, bmp, png or tif format are automatically uneditable.
有一张图是biorad机器出的，只能出jpg。横纵坐标都是弄好的。是不是要把中间的图
扣出来，重新画坐标轴？

我手锯的意思是可以用手拿着的那种锯，不是放在桌子上的：P 那叫什么，vertical
saw?
电动的比较省力也准一点吧，手动的会锯偏……圆的那种是不是不可以？要长方型
blade的？有没有比较durable的牌子？不想用一次就完了。

手锯，指的是手工锯，人力的；
电锯，指的是电力的。
所有的锯都应该是用手来操作的，除了有的残疾人没有手。
电动的手锯就象火热的冰棍儿一样难找。

这个对MM来说有点吓人吧。我觉得楼主买个用电池的jig saw就可以了。

You need a sabre saw (also spelled saber saw), I see both spellings being
used.
