is your problem resolved yet? I guess the noise coming from the fan. But I don't know more than that. I have similar problem with the water in backup pan. I had ordered technician to come next week to see how much they can do.

Not yet. The repairing people is very busy these days due to the high temperature. A friend of mine thought that the problem may be related to overheating of the blow motor too. Would you please keep me informed after the technician looks at yours? Many thanks.

What kind of 噪音? Why is your furnace making noise when AC is running, furnace is not even suppose to be on at all when you run AC, something is seriously wrong if your AC and furnace come on at the same time. What is "furnace下面的backup pan" you are talking about? I have never heard of such thing. Post a picture first. You have a gas furnace right?
Laser9312, the technician did come, but he just repiped p-trap and I insisted him lower down the drain pipe a bit. Not sure if this will really do the trick. Need to have a couple of days to observe. and gezhi89, the backup pan is the extra pan underneath the whole unit to catch overflow water from the drain pan. Probably the system is not the popular in your area.
Thanks so much for the update. When you get chance, could you please explain a bit about p-trap? I am clueless about its location and function. gezhi89: I may not say clear enough in my previous post. The furnace was not on but the fan (blow motor) does, which is responsible for air flow. Also, balihai's explanation about the backup pan is right.

the p-trap is connecting your drain pipe and drain pan, so you suppose to find it on the corner of your system box (on top of your backup pan). some system use the plastic one, others might be the pvc type. it has a curve and shaped like a "p" upside down, hence the name. you should have no problem finding it.
