鉴于目前形式通过 EB2 拿绿卡至少也得5~6年，感觉太漫长，想试试 EB1B. 不过本人
在一个 engineering and consultant 公司，而且title是 civil engineer，感觉不
太容易往上靠。单位有一些scientist的职位，不过那都是给作环境方面的。来单位
刚刚一年，也做一点研究工作，单位内部有个research committee，每年会资助2~3
个项目，比较幸运的是第一年来就中了一个，所以有些时间自己做点research.但我当
初的offer letter上跟research没太大关系。
想咨询一下大家，我这种情况走EB1B的可能性有多大。自己的直接上司比较好说话，还
主动问我什么时候办绿卡。
本人背景：
journal paper
3 chinese ~ 20citations
8 english ~25 citations ( 5 are most recent papers with few citations)
3 conference papers
2 committee memberships
4 paper r

本人EB3C，排期马上就到了，但绿卡突然披了，我妻子（她是H1B，快过期了）没来得
及交上去。朋友推荐可以考虑用following-to-join，但是又不知道该如何申请？
请问：
（1）这个申请过程是怎样的程序？麻烦吗？
（2）要多长时间我太太才能拿到？我太太H1B签证快过期了，希望早点拿到
多谢答复！

I need a little siRNA (5nMol is enough), so most company just start with
20nM. and Bioneer could provide siRNA from 1nM, Do someone tried this
company? many thanks.

if the company can sign all the support documents, u can try . engineer
title is not problem

如果你想用境内调整身份的话，随时直接交I-485. 当然要婚姻公证上的日期早于绿卡
批准日期。
如果你想让妻子出国签移民签证，file 一个I-824.

for you to get EB1B approval.
From your description, not sure if you have PhD degree. If Yes, you can try
it. If not, the chance for EB1B is very small.
Starting from August 18, 2010, USCIS will use a "Two-Step Approach" Form I-
140 Petitions Evaluation, including EB1B petition. The step 2 evaluation
for EB1B requires the "international recognation". It looks like that it is
difficult for you to pass the step 2 evaluation.

能再问一下，如果美国境内提交她的I485申请，一般要多久批下来吗？这个程序和我排
期到了，她跟我交上去一样吗？需要其它表格吗？

sorry,是PhD,忘了，总默认自己是PhD:)
谢谢大家的回复，感觉case比较弱，不过我的背景好像在土木行业已经算不错的了，当
然没法跟其他自然科学得比。
看来还是等一等，再写两片paper,提高一下citation.
