我觉得即便是他要美国医院的经验，那也不会是真正的工作经验吧，要是都在医院工作
了谁还会去申请PA呢。要是这样说来，volunteer算的话，那么就去多做一些volunteer

PA doesn't have autonomy, they have to work with doctors. So if your social
skill is not great, it might not work for you. I rotated with an orthopedic
surgeon and I literally was in his office listening to him asking his
business partner to find a way to fire their PA. I felt bad for the PA.

I think it's absolutely a good option. It's a pretty secure job and you
will make a lot more than postdoc or research scientists. So definitely
worth a try.
