you cannot have students and postdoc?

It's just semantics. A tenure track position is a tenure track position. 可

Many medical schools now have different pathways as research, medical
education and clinical practice, with specific requirements on promotion for
each category. Research faculty includes PhD researchers, and MDs who
spend most of their time in research.
