We are seeking a Biotech Statistician for a client of ours specializing in
agricultural biotechnology.

breeding to advanced predictive and prescriptive analytics.
Job Description:
The Biotech Statistician will provide statistical support to the company’s
Biotech scientist on analysis of data coming from field and greenhouse
experiments including data management and data QC. They will be involved in
design of agricultural experiments including power and sample size
calculation. They will work closely with members of Global Analytics team
in methodology and analysis code development.
Required qualification/experience/skills:
· A Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics
or a related field. A Master’s degree in an agricultural science
discipline with strong background and work experience in statistics will
also be acceptable.
· At least 1 year of experience in professional statistical
consulting. Candidates with exceptional educational background without
consulting experience may also be considered.
· Proficiency with SAS programming, especially with SAS/BASE, SAS/
STAT, SAS/GRAPH, and SAS MACRO language. Should be able to independently
write, edit and debug SAS programs.
· Demonstrated proficiency in R programming could be considered in
lieu of extensive SAS programming experience.
· Experience with Design of Experiments, Analysis of Variance,
Mixed Model, Regression, and other basic statistics tools and the
implementation of these techniques in SAS and/or R
· Strong teamwork skills.

· Experience with analysis of data from agricultural experiments
