Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope Now In Beta
To little fanfare and not much news coverage, Canonical released the beta of
Ubuntu 9.04 'Jaunty Jackalope.' I tried it on a Dell Mini 9 using the
Ubuntu Netbook Remix (UNR) and it's fabulous! Much better than the sad 'Dell
Desktop' that it shipped with. Finally, someone has broken the 25+ year old
too-many-open-windows-and-chaos desktop paradigm with UNR's task oriented
layout, which is perfect for small netbook screen sizes.

我在达拉斯，目前有个机会可能能去上UTD的Master of Science in Management and
Administrative Sciences，是不是就是大家说的行政管理硕士？这个是西南医学中心
和UTD合办的，属于Healthcare Organization Leadership Program。看来看去，觉得
发在这可能能得到帮助，如有不妥，麻烦板主转发到相关的版面。
1。这个专业毕业后在医疗系统内好找工作吗？如果很难，比其他MBA还难，就不考虑了。
2。一共上2年，学费$32000左右，不包括书本费。我刚刚在西南做生物薄厚，还没有申
请绿卡。说实话也不知道要不要国际学生，还要不要再考GMAT和托福，Ph.D是在美国拿
的。学费能不能免税？
3。MBA的课程是不是主要以paper为主？考试好过吗？最后要不要答辩？我的写作还可
以，口语一般般。
我觉得自己以后也做不了PI,去公司上班也要做bench work。若果能拿个MBA，以后在医
疗系统做管理工作，可能会比较轻松、稳定。
恳请大家给些建议！

已经装上了，虽然只是beta，但是我用了两天，还没有碰到任何问题。我只是个普通用
户，个人感觉这和之前的版本相比，并没有太多的改变。我惊喜是的：安装完后，不做
任何修改，我的dell D830 (显卡是X3100)居然可以用扩展桌面的方式外接显示器。
