Devotee of martial arts, astrophysics says he's 'regular kid who works hard' Moshe Kai Cavalin, 11, graduated with honors Friday from East Los Angeles College, but he'd rather you not call him a genius. some suggestions on improving your writing: 1) Keep an English diary. No matter what, try to put in an entry a day. At first you may feel that your writing is very choppy, or you don't have anything to write, but it will get better in time. The key is perseverance. 2) Read more. There are written English, and then there are *good* written English. Example: USA Today - bad written English. Times magazine - bad written English. NYT - good written English. the Economist - good written En

Actually chances are, your vocabulary is probably sufficient. Afterall, in everyday writing you are only using a very small subset of words - it's how you string these limited words together that differentiates good writing from poor writing. Just because somebody discovered how to use a thesaurus and managed to insert a few uncommon words into his work, does not mean that the person is a good writer - in fact, almost always this is a sign of a BAD writer. When you read for example a newspaper

hehe 新东方 really is just a test aid. It made the validity of the standardized tests even more questionable when taken by Chinese. To improve language skills all you have to do is practice. It's true for both conversational and written English. Just like any other languages, to write well requires a certain amount of talent, but everyone can learn to write smoothly - something that a lot of native speakers are unable to do. -yoss

just write more. One thing that helped me is, to write something for yourself. Often people feel they are not writting good enough and the pressure actually prevents them from write down anything. By write something only you can see, you take out that pressure. Once you feel FREE to write, you instantly become a better writer. Just start with writting down some random thoughts. on a piece of paper. Throw it away as soon as you finish. Sometimes you may have difficulty forming a complete long se
