她给推荐了一个MORGAGE AGENT.MORGAGE AGENT跟我说要以下:
1. 2010 & 2011 - 1040 Tax Returns - All Pages Needed
2. 2010 & 2011 W2 Forms -- All Borrowers
3. 2 Months Current Bank Statements - All Pages of mailed statement if
possible.
4. 1 Month of current pay stubs.
5. Copy of your Driver's License
6. Copy of your Social Security Cards - For FHA Loans Only
mortgage loan officer还给了个sample spreadsheet of a loan and costs,上面利率
是30年4.25%.
我现在的问题是:
1.给那么多信息是否安全?
2.他给的利率是否合理?
3.他说给我开pre-qualify证明不用钱,以后我买房一定要跟他贷款吗?

if they do pre-qualify, they would not need that many documents.
if they do pre-approval, all documents are needed and they will run your
credit as well.
if you do not trust this agent, you do not need to give your docs. But if
you want to get pre-approval letter, you have to give them to the agent.
Do not worry about rates. Nothing starts yet for your financing as you just
start house hunting.

这样的letter有它的好处, 但不一定是必须的, 尤其是regular sale的房子, 一般不会

再比较一下吧，在pre-approval的阶段不是必须要提交这么多材料的。个人觉得agent
之所以要这些材料主要是希望真等要做loan的时候，客人觉已经提交过太多资料而不愿
意转用其他broker。
pre-approval本身没有这么复杂的，可以shop around一下，看看本地其他broker的要
求都是怎样的。

All these are for loan application, not for pre-qualify letter.
BTW, 2011 tax return is NOT required since due day is Apr 17 if you don't
file tax return extension.

不知道pre-qualify跟pre-approval是否有区别。

USCIS field office, however, this should only been done in extremely urgent
situations. To request emergency AP at your local office, please make an
Infopass appointment and be sure to bring with you the completed I-131
application, two passport-style photos, the appropriate application fee, and
supporting documentation verifying the emergency and the need to travel
