It depends on your net assets and the max liability coverage you can
purchase from your auto/home/landlord policy.
The general rule is liability coverage = Total net assets

在湾区的话，一般有了房子的都应该买吧。因为房子这么贵，已经付过钱的那部分都应
该算是我们的资产。
以前看过一个帖子，专门谈这个的，我们是看了以后买的。

我今天 quote 了一下，差不多 250 一年，好像也可以还可以。不过保险增加到 25
/50 万可能也差不多了。

有房子，最好买。这个东西不怕一万，只怕万一。
如果汽车事故很大的话，你要是没有这个plan，直接可以把你房子搞了。

Can the living trust prevent asset from being included in the liability
litigation? I remember one lawyer said so.

It seems the revocable living trust can NOT get away. If I understand
correctly, the key seems to be no change can be made to the trust then it's
protected. So yes to the irrevocable.
