simple comparison.
you should compare about same house buy vs. rent
grey fields on sheet 1 "inputs" are calculated, don't change.
second sheet "table" use add principal field for additional principal,
use negative numbers (all money out are negative). everything else on
second sheet is calculated. compare asset to rent liquid to see which
one is higher (better). net sale has 6% house sale commission deducted.
please note future is not predictible, many factors will change, thus
this table is f

就我自己的经历,买房子和租房子的消费没什么可比性,
买了房子以后大大小小的花费好多,光每个月的utility就超过400
煤气200,电60,水30,垃圾40,割草一次40.
然后还得买家具,电器,买装饰品,天天往商店里跑.
还有landscaping,种花,种草,种树,那个水龙头冬天关夏天开每次都百八十.
还有这装修一下那装修一下.装地毯装地板的, 装地下室, 要买各种tool, 割草机,吹叶
子机,铲雪的?, 等等.
然后过节要装灯,要买圣诞树,要装饰.
每年房子税又好几千.
以前住apartment,就交个电,煤气,不用别的,加房租几百块钱就搞定了.
所以如果买房子就想着享受吧,要想比租房省钱估计很难.
