Analog Test Engineer
Job Posting: Feb 10, 2011
Primary Location: US-AZ-Tempe
Job: Product/Test
Job responsibilities include:
* Translates product specification and system requirements into test
requirements.
* Participates in or leaders a test engineering project invlolving
several engineers.
* Define and implement concepts for design for testability and for
automatic test software generation.
* Develop and simulated test patterns during the design phase.
* Responsible for developing test soft- and hardware on state-of-the-art
Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for complex combined analog &
microcontroller products.
* Responsible for parallel test concepts and methodologies.
* Responsible for releasing test soft- and hardware into high volume
manufacturing.
* Drive Cost Reduction: Test Time Reduction and Yield Improvement.
* Perform yield enhancement by identifying fail modes, quantity of
material affected, fallout rate, etc.
* Guarantee maximum test coverage to meet our Zero Defect strategy.
* Establish cross-functional team with design, failure analysis, and
process or test engineering to identify and implement corrective actions.
* Assist with Customer Quality Incident investigations (ATE test, lab
analysis and FA lab follow up)
* Generate technical documentation such as design traceability matrix,
errata sheet, statistical analysis report, evaluation summary report,
lessons and learned.
* Verify production test measurements correlate with lab measurements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor/Master or Doctorate degree in electrical engineering,
computer science or equivalent
* 8 + years of test engineering experience
* Knowledge of analog integrated circuits and in software engineering.
Experience in software development (C/C++, Perl, Visual Basic, Assembler)
* Basic skills in statistics
* Test engineering experience on ATE e.g. Teradyne, LTX or Agilent 93K,
is required
* Familiar with BIST, SCAN, DFT, DFA implementation schemes
* Simulation of integrated circuits (VHDL, Verilog, Spice)
* Project and team-leadership skills
* Knowledge of Configuration Management
* Strong Team Player with leardership capabilities
* Strong problem solving skills
* Negotiation and collaboration skills
* Availability to travel (Europe, Asia, USA)
* Good knowledge of the English language.
