1. Need to take a detail look at the disclosure and questionnaires
2. Add inspection, mortgage, and appraisal contingencies to the purchase
agreement
3. Include all appliance and/or furniture into the contract
4. Indicate that the liens owed by the seller would be paid by the owner
in the contract before closing
5. Distribute the property tax of 2010 between the seller and the buyer
6. Allow enough time for mortgage application and closing. How long is
enough, 30 or 45 days?
7. Start shopping around for loan
8. Ask for quotes of home inspection
9. Get a lawyer before or after signing the contract?
10. Record the house with a camcorder before signing the contract
11. How do I check that the drywall of the house was not made of toxic
materials?
