两天前家里漏水，找了个plummer检测。地方倒是找到了，只是他工作过程中损坏了我
家的water heater。已经完全损坏，只能换新的。他自己报价$2,200，要我与他50/50
split cost。他特别强调我的water heater 已经使用快7年了。平均寿命是10-15年。
我的问题是，我该不该付这$1,100?
我问了另外3家，报价分别是 $1,200, $1,400，$1,500.

提出过类似的建议了，他坚决不同意。如果不是从他家买让他换，他分文不给。

plumber不是都要有license的吗？你看看可不可以complain到发放license的地方，如
果可以，先提前告诉他的manager,如果他不给你解决你就要告了。 also you can
always complain to your state's attorney general's office. My personal
experience is that it is much better than complaining to the BBB.

是的bbb就是一赢利机构,没有任何control.如果这个公司不加入bbb,或是不在呼bbb,你
一点法也没有.
