Urgent ask: Question about lender and rate# Living

Just finished typing in Chinese, one mouse click, all gone... I have to type
English now to make 2nd time typing faster. Sorry.
I found the thing about lender is the more you get involved with them, the
higher your rate goes. I started with lender A and B both with competitive
rate, and choose A to be the one to work with.We've been looking for houses
for a while and used some A's work already. Now we got under contract, I
found A's rate is not as competitive as B's. But since we've been working
together already, I plan to keep using A.
But I face this dilemma now. I can lock now for 30 days lock or a week from
now for 15 days lock. Since it's only 1 week away, market likely will stay
the same. 15 days lock I can get 0.125% reduction on interest rate. But...
now I still have chance to switch to lender B, it's my choice to stay with A
, a week from now I only can work with A to enable successful closing, what
if he doesn't honor that 0.125% reduction, or worst case even raise rate?
What do you find in your working with lender?? Is your lender more
trustworthy than mine or they are all the same?
