以前跟人讨论过,我自己的理解是如果我多还principle到loan里面,以后的利息也都
按照新的loan amount算,也就是说整体可以省利息的。但是上次跟一个loan agent说
起这事,她竟然说不是的,利息都是提前算好,多还principle只能缩短还款时间,不
能减少利息数额。
请教大师们到底我理解的对不对,谢谢。

谢谢大牛们的回复,那我就放心了,今天寄走了多付principle的支票,每月的payment
不变,应该能省些利息早点还清了。

下一个月的 statement 上是不是应该看出来? payoff amount 应该有变化吧?
除非银行认为你多付的钱是在付利息, 这个当然没道理, 没道理并不等于银行不这么
做。 :)

LZ的理解是对的,LZ咨询的那个loan agent知其然不知其所以然。
之所以可以提前还清,就是因为提前还本之后,monthly payment里面每个月还的本金
比例增加很多,还款期缩短,本身总利息就在降低。
只能说monthly payment是不变的,是之前算好的,不能说总利息是不变的。

之所以可以提前还清,就是因为提前还本之后,monthly payment里面每个月还的本金

严格的文字上说这些都不能算是省利息吧?你不借钱或少借钱,当然就不要付利息或少
付利息。就像你不买东西不能说你就省了那买东西的钱,比如那百万豪宅没有买,不能
说我就省了百万,除非我没花钱但达到一样的居住环境。。。所以真的省利息应该是借
同样的钱同样的时间但是少付利息才能算省吧 //run
