小区要对这一片房子杀白蚁，发了信，还召开了答疑会，觉得杀虫公司的回答也挺官方的
要用的是这些材料：
The fumigation treatment involves tenting of each building, filling it with
Vikane (sulphurylfluoride) gas as the fumigant along with chloropicrin (tear
gas) as a warning agent for several hours, followed by venting and testing
of the building to ensure the gases have been cleared. This process will be
performed by XXX in accordance with the protocols established and regulated
by the State of XXX Structural Pest Control Board.
对准备的要求是：
You will have to prepare your apartment prior to treatment. All people,
pets and plants must be removed from the structure before fumigation. (This
includes fish and seeds or bulbs intended for planting). Medicines, feed and
food not sealed in metal, glass or highly resistant containers must be
removed from the structure or sealed in protective bags
无论官方怎么答，担心的还是气体的渗透，麻烦不说，比较担心的是孩子的玩具家具之
类的，小朋友还是会乱把东西往嘴巴里放的年纪，又不可能把所有玩具也都密封起来，
按要求的说法，纸箱子并不属于可以密闭的容器，是不是这些都得密封或带走？
有人答疑的时候问了小型pets的问题，他们的回答也是不是很确定的，说一般宠物和人
的承受能力一样，如果实在是特别小的宠物，建议多等几天再带回来。
