The screen-door effect (SDE) or fixed-pattern noise (FPN) is a visual
artifact of displays, where the fine lines separating pixels (or subpixels)
become visible in the displayed image. This can be seen in digital projector
images and regular displays under magnification or at close range, but the
increases in display resolutions have made this much less significant.[1]
More recently, the screen door effect has been an issue with virtual reality
headsets and other head-mounted displays, because these stretch a single
display across a much wider field of view.[2]

LOL. Just want to know your firsthand experience on LCD. I don't have a

红姐看不出rainbow effect 很多其他人看不出有些人不喜欢lcd的颜色。。。。。。

From your post, you said you like lcd and saw rainbow on dlp. I assume you
own lcd, so I just ask if you see the screen door effect, in another words,
if the screen door effect bothered you. You posted a youtube video showing
how noticable screen door effect was under various configuration which was
nice. I don't see any problem here :-).

I heard some people don't see rainbow the first time they use it, but at
some point they see it, and it's over. Also, some of your family members
might see it and some might not.

only Epson 5040UB does not have screen door
my epson 2040 still see screen door sometimes. You need to buy Epson 5040UB.
