i noticed a difference. when i was young I played video games a lot, and it
was very controllable, predictable and winnable. everything has a cause and
an outcome. it always follow the same logic so if i lost it was my own fault
. if somebody beats me he plays better than me. rarely are there exceptions.
I realize this has been planted in my subconsciousness and I tend to think
this is the way the world works. as I grew older I know it is not, but it's
hard to get used to the concept of bad luck, and I really struggle with this
concept even now.
us kids play a lot of chance games and they generally are better at
accepting a lose by chance.
