走的是 google chat, 理论上是 gmail。但是不知道人家有没有办法强制你一定要用
gmail client。反正这个声明不清不楚。

你看了 google 的声明了吗？仔细看看第一句话。 "Many of you call phones from
Gmail ..." 人家没有说 google chat，说得是 gmail。这里头很有讲究阿。至少有
一种理解是只有在用 gmail client 下面打电话才免费。所以我才问 obi 的问题。反
正到下个星期就知道了。
Many of you call phones from Gmail to easily connect with friends and family
. If you're in the US and Canada, you'll continue to be able to make free
domestic calls through 2013. Plus, in most countries, you can still call the
rest of the world from Gmail at insanely low rates.

you misunderstood
For one thing, GV voice calling remains free
For second, EVEN IF voice calling is not free, it does not affect users that
have ported their number to GV. For these users, GV is simply a call-
forwarding (and free text messing) service.
It does affect GrooveIP users, though
