I dont see it as a problem, self-talking helps sooth you out from stress, we all talk to ourselves, we may not sound the words out but every one talks to him/her self. what is wrong with it? you can improve your attention deficit by looking into the talker's eyes and remind yourself that someone is addressing you.

Can you distinguish and identify the multiple yourselves in this self- talking? I don't know much, but could it be similar to "multiple personalities" (or DID: Dissociative Identity Disorder) coexisting in you and communicating among themselves?
